With all the uncertainty that currently abounds, I would recommend to any Year 6 parents still holding places at both Becket Keys and an existing secondary school to revisit both their options.
Parents who have been offered a place at Shenfield High School have been given the opportunity to attend a meeting on Wednesday evening to learn about some of the exciting things afoot there. They will hear from parents and staff, and a representative from the Brentwood Schools Christian Worker Trust will be on hand to discuss what input they have in the school. The school is also providing tours of the site on Monday morning.
I am sure the other existing secondary schools would welcome being approached by any parent still considering them with any questions or fears.
Do take the opportunities offered to make informed decisions on your child’s, and indeed the future education of all of Brentwood’s children.
