Brentwood County High School launch centenary celebrations

Brentwood County High School (BCHS) has launched a year of celebrations to mark its centenary. Those on the BCHS e-mail distribution list were advised of the plans yesterday (13th September) with the following statement:

BCHS Centenary“Brentwood County High School  celebrates one hundred years of educating young people this year, and has issued  an open invitation to all former staff, students and parents to come back to  school for a day.

An “Open School” event on  5th October launches the year of celebrations, with the school  opening its doors for an afternoon to anyone who has an interest in the school.  Please see the attached flyer for more details.

All students and staff will be  issued next week with a commemorative badge at the start of a year of different  events and activities to celebrate.”

The flyer can be found here:

  1. I left Brentwood County High School in 2000. I had such an amazing time there, all the teachers were brilliant, it really was one of the best experiences of my life and its lovely to see that BCHS is celebrating its 100 year anniversary. I made some lifetime friends and for that I will be forever grateful.

  2. I will never forget the first time I walked through the gates and saw the building for the first time. I graduated from the Sixth Form in 2002 and I have to say that I had the best 7 years of my life there. I met some fantastic people and shared some unforgettable experiences with foreign exchanges etc. Thank you BCHS for giving me the stepping stone to further opportunities. I will always be grateful.
